Smarty Pants - Salt Lake City Senior Photographer

There's something about shooting a senior. It's so inspiring to listen to each of their stories. You're at the top of the chain finally. You're deciding what you're going to do with the rest of your life. You've got it all figured out. That's how I felt about this kid. I wish I could even remember what he said he wanted to be "when he grows up". Biomedical something or other. I'm definitely not smart enough to even know what it was, but I'm glad I get to be the person that documents this time of his life for him.

Changes - Utah Senior Teen Photographer

I've been so excited to post these images. These are the second set of images from my mentorship with Vanessa Millecam. I just couldn't believe how beautiful these two girls were. They totally knew how to work the camera which made my job SO EASY.

As you can see, there have been some changes here on my website. I'm still tweaking a few things but I'm really loving the new look.

Before, my branding was geared mainly toward children, and while I still really love photographing children, I wanted to market to a larger client base. When I was just starting out I really only took pictures of people's children. Now I've had the opportunity to shoot seniors, bridals, engagements, all these different sessions and I realize how much I love it and want to do more of it.

I wanted a look that was clean and classic and I think I got it! I hope you all like it!

Now, back to these girls, aren't they just beautiful? I love this next picture. Doesn't Miss Chloe just put off mysterious? I love the intensity of it.

And Lisa could pull off any pose we threw at her.

Teenagers are just too beautiful these days. Seriously, I don't remember girls looking like this when I was in high school. And it wasn't even that long ago!

Kid on a Bike - Utah High School Senior Photographer

I was a little nervous for this session. It was my very first senior session and it was a boy. So when he rolled up on his bullet bike, saying I was intimidated was an understatement.

I had NOTHING to be worried about. This kid was a natural. I think he was even getting a little embarrassed over all the praise but I couldn't help it. He was good.

He knew how to pose. When to smile. When to pull a straight face. He didn't need any coaching. It made things super simple for me.

You see, I'm used to chasing little kids around praying that I get at least one decent shot.

Graduating high school is such an exciting time. You have your whole life ahead of you. You can take on the world pretty much. And Kyle's going to. He's planning on joining the U.S. Coast Guard. I have a feeling he's going to be great at whatever he chooses for himself.

This kid and his bike. Man, I couldn't have asked for a better prop. I love how the pictures are a little mysterious but still fun. And they show who he really is. Adventerous.

I really enjoyed getting to know a little bit about you Kyle. Congratulations on your graduation and good luck with everything ahead of you!
